Ms Sviatlana Tsikhanouskaya, the Belarus National Leader, is to visit the UK on Tuesday, 3rd August.
While in London, Ms Tsikhanouskaya will hold meetings with members of the UK Government and Parliamentarians. The discussion points will include a further extension of the sanctions already imposed on the regime of Alexander Lukashenko; additional financial and practical support for Belarusian democratic forces and persons who suffered from political repression; and diplomatic support in the international arena.
Belarusians and their friends in the UK will gather in King Charles Street, outside the Foreign Office with flags between 10.30 – 12noon, on 3rd August to greet her party as she drives to the FCDO.
Later, she will meet with the Belarusian diaspora at about 2.30pm in the One Great George Street (Conference Centre). The meeting will be held in the Belarusian/Russian languages.
Members of the Press will be welcome to join the meeting. There will be an opportunity to question Ms Tsikhanouskaya following the meeting with the diaspora.

Later in the week, on 8th August, Belarusians living in the UK and supporters of the Belarus Democratic movement will hold demonstrations in London and Edinburgh to mark the anniversary of the rigged 2020 Presidential election in Belarus.
