The Association of Belarusians in GB and People’s Embassy of Belarus in the UK invites you to join our annual meeting commemorating the 1920 Slutsk Belarusian armed campaign (fought for the freedom of the Belarusian Democratic Republic), and the International Belarus Solidarity Day in the UK on Saturday 27th November 2021 at 2pm or alternatively on Zoom or Facebook Event (live video) .

The first presentation of the day will be on:
– The 1920 Slutsk Armed Campaign in the memory of the post-World War II Belarusian diaspora in the UK;
– Recently discovered new information on the later years of Andrej Jakubecki, the last Belarusian “Commander-in-Chief of the Republic” in 1920-21.(a summary in English will be provided as may be needed for the audience).

The meeting will then go on to mark the International Belarus Solidarity Day in the UK, organised by the People’s Embassy of Belarus in the UK.

A drinks and buffet reception after the presentations and speeches.
